Insights from the Championship

Home ground pressure for Qatar
Qatar entered the tournament with high expectations. Their men’s and junior teams showed flashes of brilliance, but in the key moments the UAE remained composed and took the title. Finishing second in front of home fans will feel like a missed opportunity, yet it also highlights Qatar’s potential to keep improving.

UAE’s dominance across categories
Winning in men’s, women’s, and junior competitions proves the UAE has depth and balance across their squads. Their players displayed not only skill but also mental toughness, making them the standout team of the championship. The UAE has now positioned itself as a powerhouse in Gulf padel.

Other Gulf nations closing the gap
The close scores, especially in women’s and junior matches, showed that countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman are improving rapidly. With more investment and exposure, these teams could challenge for the top spot in future editions.

What comes next for Qatar
Despite missing gold, Qatar showed strong progress. With more focus on building squad depth and preparing players for high-pressure situations, they could soon overcome the final hurdle. Continued development programs and international exposure will be important for their next step forward.
